Multi-lingual user interface and data

eyebase has full multi-lingual capability. Languages can be customized and established for the user interface and/or for the data. This functionality is critically important in developing global, cross-media content for multiple audiences and provide for collaboration between global teams using multi-lingual data and interfaces.

Multi-lingual functionality distinguishes between the user language (i.e. captions and text labels in the eyebase user interface) and the data language (multi-language metadata). 

All language-dependent strings — like field names, labels, or button names — are stored in separate language profiles within eyebase. An eyebase administrator can adjust the application and interface languages separately within "Settings" for each user or global team. For example, one set of users may use eyebase in English, and your team in China can use it in Chinese.
